On 9 January, Her Excellency Ms. Daniela Gîtman, Ambassador of Romania to Portugal, visited the Centre during an official engagement at the Portuguese Hydrographic Institute, accompanied by the Minister Counsellor and the Defence Attaché.
The visit reaffirmed Romania’s commitment as a contributing nation. An overview was provided of the Centre’s main areas of activity and its role in supporting NATO maritime operations in the geospatial, meteorological, and oceanographic domains.
The Centre highly values Romania’s continued engagement and remains committed to further strengthening multinational cooperation in support of NATO objectives.
