The MARITIME GEOMETOC CENTRE received on Wednesday 23rd of May 2019, a delegation from NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and NATO Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM).
This was a working visited to introduce the Portuguese initiative, to establish the future NATO Maritime Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre of Excellence, and to discuss its concept. The visit included briefings from the Head of the COE Establishment Team and from the Director of the MARITIME GEOMETOC CENTRE.
