A service provider is being sought for the development of a handbook for a Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA) Data Hub by the NATO Maritime Geospatial, Meteorological & Oceanographic Centre of Excellence.

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive guide to support the implementation of a REA Data Hub, ensuring that it meets NATO technical and operational standards.

Key Information
  • Application period: 17 February to 10 March 2025
  • Location: Hybrid (remote and on COE premises in Lisbon, Portugal)
  • Contract duration: 8 months
Eligibility & Requirements
  • Must be a citizen of a NATO Ally
  • University degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Strong software development, networking, and systems integration background
  • Experience in military requirements analysis and GEOMETOC domains
  • Security clearance (or willingness to obtain)

The REA Data Hub will play a vital role in enhancing NATO’s situational awareness, decision-making, and operational effectiveness in dynamic maritime environments. This project will also contribute to the REPMUS exercise by testing its capabilities in a real-world scenario.
