The COE participated in the NATO-accredited Centres of Excellence Marketplace held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, from 12 to 13 May 2026.
The Centre was represented by the Head of Products and Services Branch and the Analysis and Lessons Learned and Doctrine Staff Officer.
The Maritime GEOMETOC COE participated in the Marketplace, a forum that brought together representatives from across the NATO COE community to exchange expertise, showcase capabilities, and strengthen cooperation in support of the Alliance’s strategic and operational priorities.
During the event, the Centre showcased its maritime geospatial, meteorological and oceanographic expertise, demonstrating how environmental and geospatial information can enhance situational awareness and support informed decision-making to improve the effectiveness of NATO maritime operations in complex, multi-domain environments.
Participation in the Marketplace also provided an opportunity to reinforce engagement with other COEs and NATO stakeholders, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and exploring new paths for cooperation to address emerging challenges in the maritime environment.
Participation in the COE Marketplace underscores the Centre’s continued commitment to innovation, interoperability, and the delivery of high-quality expertise in support of NATO transformation and mission success.
