On 21 July 2026, the NATO Maritime GEOMETOC Centre of Excellence welcomed Márcio Souza, Brazilian Naval Attaché accredited to Portugal, for an official visit to the Centre.
During the visit, discussions focused on the mission and activities of the COE, as well as opportunities for enhanced cooperation and knowledge exchange in areas of mutual interest related to the maritime environment.
