The 7th Steering Committee Meeting of the NATO Maritime Geospatial Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre of Excellence (MGEOMETOC COE) was held in Lisbon, on the 7th of November 2023.
The meeting was chaired by Rear-admiral João Paulo Ramalho Marreiros and was attended by representatives of the Sponsoring Nations, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Türkiye. The representatives of France, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States also attended the meeting as observers.
During the meeting, the Steering Committee was informed about the situation report concerning the 2023 Programme of Work, regarding execution status of its activities and projects. The following documents were approved, the 2024 Programme of Work and its associated budget, the Medium-Term Financial Plan for the period 2025-2029, and the Financial Administrative Procedures change proposal.
